I wanted to let the founding members know that you may have some company in about a month. We've decided to place a small ad in the November 1st and November 20th Shotgun News issues. It is mostly a test run to see how effective this type of advertising is for our particular business. Since only a few of our existing members are buying from our e-commerce site, we decided to extend the invitation out to a wider audience. We've been quietly stock piling parts and firearms, and Jeff has been working long nights overhauling our main website and the e-commerce store. With a little luck, we will have everything ship shape when the first ad goes into circulation on November 1st. We may see some new forum members, so please help welcome them to the family. Also, I expect a run on our AR receivers. If you have been thinking about buying one, you might think about getting it before November 1st.

In the past 30 years, there has been a long list of companies in this business that have gotten their start with an ad in the back of G&A or SGN. Dillon Precison, MidwayUSA, Timney, and Sierra Bullets to name a few. It doesn't happen overnight, but I have a feeling I'm about to get really busy and miss the days when I had time to surf Gunbroker and dream about gun collecting.

Stay tuned.

Thanks for the feedback but unfortunately we are limited in functionality and don't have the ability to modify the HTML on the site. If we can get the business growing and have a little more cash so we can afford to host the forum, then we will have the ability to do more things. But for now we have to do the best with what we have.

Spread the word....

If you click the hypertext Live To Shoot at the top of the page, it takes you to the www.livetoshoot.com homepage. From there, you can go into our e-commerce store, Blog, or any of the other pages listed on the main site. At least it works for me.

yea, it works for me, i was just saying it took me quite a while to find it, and even then, only when i hovered the mouse over it to see that it was a link.

im just saying that i think it would behooth(sp?) you to make it more prominent so it cant be missed by anyone who wants to see it.

like i said, just a sugestion, more or less just thinking out loud.

Deth,

We do appreciate the feedback. Jeff does the website stuff, and I know he hits limitations at every turn because we are trying to keep the investment low so we can spend more on inventory to help get cash flow moving.

One of the areas we need feedback on the most is the store. What products do people want to see, and what features would they really find useful.

For instance, we are caring a lot of AR parts because the AR is popular and this country is full of do-it yourselfers. Some of those products have a certain "trick" to getting them installed properly. We're considering putting short video clips on the sight that illustrate how the item is used, installed or maintained etc.

We don't want to be all things to all people. We want to offer the right things to our customers. Please feel free to give us constructive criticism at any time.

We actually appreciate it.
