Just finished putting a plain old oil finish on my custom laminate stock for the Mauser project. I tried something different called Lin-Speed oil. It is a more refined Lin-Seed oil that actually drys completely. Hand rub two coats on then use 000 steel wool to rub on the last coat. (allowing drying time between coats of course).
