Is this what things will come to in the U.S.? A U.S. Pastor has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for bringing ammo into Russia.

Jeff that is ridiculous, but then again it is Russia. The pastor wasn't using very good judgment trying to bring ammo through any customs or airport security. Think what would happen in the US, especially since 911. It would be bad mojo. I doubt you would get 3 years but who knows they might label you a terrorist and then you go off to sing sing for up to a year with out even being charged, after the year is up then they can really start screwing with you.

this was brought up on another forum, and a good point was brought up.

a jamacian voodoo priest flys into florida, and is caught with a bag of marijuanna. he speaks the language fluently, and has been here MANY times before.

he should be released and not charged because he "didnt know the law" and he was the head of a relegious group in his home country???

gotta look at the story from both sides
