A Dem Senator had submitted a bill to require locked storage of firearms in the home..SB49....( let me call 911, unlock my safe then get the ammo) before I can defend myself and family.As state legislature is majority Democrat, this was a real scare. Well, when this got to committee last night, it crashed n burned 9-1!!!Guess some shooting Dems may have seen the light. Took a large grass roots and emails.

a few anti gun bills were voted down here in pa too.
there is a little good news out htere yet, you just dont hear about it as much.

Shoot, there was NO mention of this in the Denver media, got a email from a Senator buddy that was on the committee!

Dan hmmmm, govt tries to put in new gun laws with no knowledge given to any of the constituents they were elected to serve?!?!
who'd-a thunk it????
imo, you colo residents need to look in to who introduced and pushed that bill, and find out when theyre up for election again!!

UPDATE......Today, in Rocky Mountain News--(Traditionally Anti) There was a 3 page article on Concealed Carry...
amazing, most of it was PRO. Good senator whut introduced above bill was quoted " I think this was necessary....
however, a group of shooters somehow inundated us with calls ans e-mails..there was no support for it"
Somehow.......my butt, mam, there are a LOT more people out there that DO keep an eye on what is going on
and do not follow the sheepies!

Same media ran a survey on Sunday to 'get the real feeling of the people'....surprised they printed the results!
You opinion of Colorado gun laws:
Not strong enough! 16%
Too many: 60.6%
Sufficient: 18.4%
Like I said, two papers here..Rocky Mountain News/ Denver Post. Both are owned by a LA paper...ultra lib!
This swing could still be a Trojan Horse!
