Just some fun pics here. I couldn't resist posting some group photos which include my beloved 6.9 Million M-1, made in 1956...one of the VERY LAST real M-1's. The other two rifles are builds of mine and are already known to this forum. Anyway, enjoy a little eye candy, but please keep your arousal to a minimum if you would. :D

Jeez, I didn't mean to get everyone all hot-n-bothered. :D (Well....maybe I did. A little)

AK...I would be happy to consider an M-1 Carbine restoration. I've been thinking about that anyway. I do not have the tools for rebarreling, etc, but I can easily handle a "cosmetic" restoration. The Carbines that CMP are shipping are checked for muzzle wear and headspace anyway, so you won't get a "worn-out" one in terms of mechanical condition. It may just need reparking and a new stock set. Tust me, it can look fantastic when it's done.

My original goal was to specialize only in M-1 Rifles (Garands), but I think if I want to go full-time within a few years I may need to broaden my product line.

Carbines are FUN to shoot! If you have a woman or younger shooter in your life, I can't imagine anything better. There's a reason why even after over six MILLION Carbines were made during WWII, someone still cranks out a modern recreation every few years. However few are as good as the Real McCoy. Best to stick with real USGI in my opinion.

Send me an email offline and we can discuss pricing options. Please keep in mind that Live-to-Shoot forum members automatically receive "Platinum Club Pricing" at Bunker Hill Armory! Just one of the many benefits of being a LTS participant!! :D

AKuser, conact me off line and we can discuss pricing. It will vary a bit depending on how much you want done or needs to be done. No sweat...we'll make those girls all lookin' sharp! :D

I'll tell you, you've got me thinking about carbines now. I might just have to go buy the tooling so I can do the rest of the work. See...this thing goes both ways!

I'm just waiting to hear back from my buddy that was suppose to get a few CMP rifles and he said he didn't need another m1 carbine. I can just imagine how nice you could refinish the would repark the metal. The only thing I am a little worried about is the barrel bore condition some I have seen are in need of barrels so I will have wait and see. I know T when he reads this will jump in he was tellling me in another thread to get one that the kids love to shoot the m1 carbine. Well it looks like it will happen now I hope soon. I will contact you as soon as I know what I have and what is needed to be done on it. Thanks

AKuser, the CMP grades their rifles pretty well. Even the rack grades have usuable barrels in them. Fear not...we'll get you what you need.

No hurry...no stress. I've got plenty going on, so don't worry about my end. Let me know what you get when it shows up.

Oh, Mr. Swenson...we need to get you some photos too I believe. They'll be coming up soon right after I finish my work rotation. (I work 12-hour night shifts, and actually should be getting to bed now!)
