increase in to the mid $50's first of the year. Any chance you get to buy shot, GRAB it!This id for 25lb bags...I can remember buying reclaimed shot for $16 a hundred....sheesh!

Dan you're so right! Lead prices have gone through the roof!! I lost my job last year and I still wanted to carry on shooting, so I switched to home loading with the help of a couple of buddies. I also switched to steel because it helped the 'ol pocket. One of the fellas have found www.steel-shot.com. We club together and buy all our steel shot from these guys. We ordered 140 pounds of no 7 and got it delivered for $1.40 a pound. If you email them your quantities they usually sort you out with a good deal. Anywayz, hope this helps anyone else out there looking for a cheaper way to shoot.
