We just got some Rock River Arms lower receivers. The lead time from RRA is currently 6-8 months so this is a good opportunity to get you one.
Below you can purchase it right from this post

Cool. What are the odds of getting some inexpensive parts kits?

Sorry I missed your question. Define inexpensive. We have the lower parts kits for $48.00. They are top notch parts. We could go to a cheaper supplier, but you often get what you pay for. All of our AR parts are below MSRP. Make me a wish list and we'll see if we can't make it happen. That's what we do. Just give me specifics. You can email me if you don't want to post them. Heck, you can call me. The customer service line come straight to me.

Thanks, a buddy of mine picked up a stripped reciever and would like to put it together. He was thinking about a complete parts kit but after realizing that the AR has no piston he is thinking about a complete upper with a piston in it and a lower parts kit. Don't know he's a little indecive about it.

If he is willing to spend the money for a gas piston upper, I don't saving $10 on the lower parts kit will make much difference. I've seen some good gas piston setups in the past few years, but I have yet to see one that doesn't cost you in the accuracy department. Adding the gas piston back into the design takes the accuracy advantage the AR has over the M1A right out of the discussion. I have never seen a civilian application that required the extreme liability of a gas piston upper, unless you count just having a really cool AR. And that's ok. We are dealers for POF so we can get really good gas piston guns, they just aren't my prefence. The extra $1000 for the upper just doesn't solve $1000 worth of problems when I keep my AR clean and keep plenty of good ammo on hand.
To each his own.
