Who says you can't go home again? Thanks to a poor backup system at our forum provider, we lost all of our forum information and today is a whole new day.

So, for those of you who have never been to the board, I'm Tim, co-founder of Live To Shoot. I'm the younger, less outspoken brother who runs the North Carolina side of the operation. I try to stay out of politics when I can, because I don't have much patience for people in public office. My brother is much better at dealing with government and politicians. I am a shooter. High Power rifle, IDPA, CAS, Sporting Clays, small bore target or just .22's and tin cans with my daughter.

I've always loved shooting, and loved the mechanics of firearms. It keeps me happy and like introducing people to the sports and seeing how quickly shooting starts to make them happy. I hope everyone comes back to our forum and brings a few friends with them. You are going to see a few things here that aren't anywhere else. Just give it a little time.

Tim, I come back from vacation and no "Live to shoot". Needless to say I was a little bummed. I'm sorry you guys weren't able to get the old data back, it was a real strong start. I guess we all will have to work twice as hard so we get back on track. I'm going to the range today with the new XD9 and M&P 40 that I got from you and Jeff, I'll of coerce have a full range report shortly after my return. Best of luck this time around, we don't want to loose any good data/posts. Maybe the host could offer some kind of back up so at least you can recover information and restore the forum if this happens again.

Let's hope we find away to avoid this in the future. I also hope we find a way to get our momentum back. We need a few more people like you to take up the cause with so much energy. We can't thank you enough. Enjoy the pistols. Jeff located some Hi Cap mags for the XD and was taking care of the medium backstrap for the M&P. Let me know if that all gets taken care of. Because if it doesn't, I need to call mom and find out if her responisble son was hit by a city bus or something. He is known of dotting the i's and crossing the t's much better than I am.
