I thought we would try this service on a trial basis. We realize that many times a firearm must be sold to generate funds for new purchases. In this category, our members can post pictures of their guns and offer them for sale. There are only a few guidelines.

#1 - This is just for guns. Don't try to sell your 74 Pinto on this site. If it fits better on EBay, don't put it here.
#2 - You have to include a price for the gun. No links to auctions. Just tell us what you have and what you want for it. You can add "OBO" if you like.
#3 - No dealers. We don't mind having other dealers as members of our sites, but we do ask that you use your resources to sell your inventory, not ours.
#4 - Live To Shoot is just a spectator. Please don't ask us to get involved in any of the deals.
#5 - Live To Shoot is not responsible for the quality or any other aspect of the guns sold or traded.
#6 - We reserve the right to kill this part of the forum if it gets abused or out of hand.
#7 - All transactions WILL follow the laws and regulations spelled out by the beloved ATF. That means all guns must be transferred through local dealers just like any other firearms transaction. Any postings for illegal items will be erased and the poster will be warned, and possibly BANNED. Every transaction is to be strictly LEGAL! If you don't know the law, feel free to email me your posting or questions and I will advise you BEFORE you post it.

I think that is simple enough. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any. Just drop me a note and we'll discuss them.

Dan - good point. I'll edit the post.

Deth - We aren't big on censorship around here. I don't see any problem with Want To Buy ads. Accessories and ammo won't be a problem either. However, if it turns out that someone is using our site as their personal web store for crap they are buying low and trying to unload on our members, I'll most likely see that as abuse and put a stop to it. It's all fun and games until someone abuses the system and then the Draconians have to come out and put a stop to it!

Lets give it a go and try to keep it in the spirit of Live To Shoot. I'll hold our Founding Members to a high standard, though. If someone sees another member becoming a problem, I'll expect my attention to be brought to it. I don't foresee any big problems, however. Let's stay positive.

Sounds good, I'll get it started.

Thanks 8)
